So I bought this thinking this would be perfect for my easily aggravated skin! Lush says, “Based on an ancient Greek formula for cold cream, Ultrabland is beautifully simple and very effective. Made with almond oil, rose water, beeswax and honey, this cleanser removes all traces of dirt and makeup, without stripping away your skin’s natural defences. Smooth over the face, any dirt will cling to the cream and you can remove it with a warm damp cloth or cotton wool.” It also says on the side that if you have problem skin, to use nothing but this for a month and it should balance things out!
The texture of Ultrabland is really creamy, it’s so thick! I take a big chunk and rub it between my fingers and massage it into my face. I then wipe it off with a hot wash cloth. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and clean! I love it so much! You can smell the beeswax in it too!
The only thing that bothers me about this is the fact that is so oily! It doesn’t affect my skin at all, it’s just the slime it leaves behind in the sink, on the shower floor and on my flannel! It’s so hard to wash off! I suppose that’s a small price to pay if it leaves my skin feeling amazing!
It costs £7.25 for 45g or £11.50 for 100g. I really suggest you try this if you have problem skin and you’re at your wits end! Or if you’re just looking for a nice cleanser that will remove your makeup without breaking you out, or making your skin feel clogged, this is the one to try! Lush are pretty good at handing out samples, go in and ask for one and give it a try! It’s part of my routine now, and I’m so pleased I found it!
